Since April the 1ste 2007, the manager of the park is "Atelier Environnement" which means green environment. This association has the social object to create jobs by talking action in favor of green environment.
From the time they started they offered services in following sections :
- Waste : selective collection and separating paper/carton, plastics, metal, cartons of drinks and big rubbish - Agriculture : mechanical clip of hedge - Pedagogical : animation "Nature" in elementary schools.
By taking over the Topiary Park by "Atelier Environnement" results in having a natural space, so they can try developing their pedagogical activities, the sensibility of nature and the Walloon inheritance.
The Topiary Park is the initiative of Mister and Misses Navez. This guarden shows the art of a life time. About twenty years ago Mister Albert Navez bought some box shrubs. He started his experience in the Topiary Art and now here you will able to see his talent. This hobby becomes to create a larger park dedicated to the art of shaping box trees. This was the birth of "The Topiary Park" of Durbuy in 1997.
Mister and Misses Navez spend six years of their life for the working well of the park. In July 2003 the park has been taken over Idelux (section Hazalles) with delegation of manager the Office of Tourism with many new ideas to develop and projects to fulfill.
To maintaining the touristic activity, which is the box sculptures (Topiary), "Atelier Environnement" will develop for the benefit of the park, pedagogical activities under the subject of "environment and agriculture (durable) and vice versa.
The biological diversity or biodiversity includes all living forms on the earth. The biodiversity is related to the great varieties of species and ecosystems, just like ecological processes to which they belong. they content all living organism, wild and domesticallu, just as the ecosystems in which they live. The objective will be to know the agreement between biodiversity and cultivated space made by human hand.
